Our village is included in the list of affected communities eligible for government financial support. Support is provided only for permanent residences (owners and tenants). Owners of holiday homes are not eligible.

Total destruction of residence: €10,000 per family + €2,000 per dependent child.
(Example: a family with three children will receive €16,000)
Partial destruction of residence: €5,000 per family + €1,000 per dependent child.
(Example: a family with two children will receive €7,000)
How to Apply
Payments will be made via bank transfer through the Republic’s Financial Management System (FIMAS).
To receive the payment, you should first 📧 send an email to fimas@treasury.gov.cy and attach the following documents:
- Completed Authorisation Form for Payments (FIMAS) – download the form here;
- IBAN certificate from your bank;
- Copy of passports and resident permissions of the property owners (if you are renting, attach your rental agreement too);
- Copy of passports and resident permissions of your children.
In addition to sending the email, you should also 📞 call the Limassol District Office to request an inspector to visit your home and officially document the damage. When calling, say something simple like: “I have damage from the july 23 fire, please visit me and make a report”. Phone numbers: 25806405, 25806422, 25806426, 25806459.
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Interior, this process should be completed by July 30. However, we hope that this deadline will be postponed, because there are too many applications and it is unrealistic to process everything in such a short time.
Those whose cars and motorcycles were damaged report that Department Of Electrical And Mechanical Services does some of the work in this area. So it makes sense to call them 25827155 to clarify the status of your application and whether there is a need for additional documents on your part.
After you report the damage, you will probably need to properly dispose of the burnt car. How to do this is not yet known. The Community Council President promised to provide information on this matter later.
The information provided may not be complete or accurate. If you have any additions based on your experience with support, please write to us.

Updated August 29
There is information that this support has already ceased to be provided. However, if you have not yet received it, you still have the opportunity to do so thanks to the help of our community. To do this, forward the email you sent to FIMAS to Maria before August 31.
Updated September 1
Maria received 30 applications from the community and forwarded them to the relevant person for processing. Many thanks to her for this help!
Also, information appeared that now you need to write not to fimas@treasury.gov.cy, but to 📧limassol.dao@limda.moi.gov.cy
