Fighting Ash for Cleaner Air

After the fire, a thick layer of ash covered the ground. Strong winds carried it through the air, filling homes, irritating lungs, and leaving behind a constant smell of smoke. For people living near the burned areas, this became a serious problem affecting both daily life and health.

One of the solutions we tested was watering the ash. We sprayed the scorched soil with high-pressure water, which helped the ash settle, mix with the ground, and absorb more quickly.

The results were immediate: the air became cleaner, the smell of ash decreased, and breathing felt easier. At the same time, this simple action also supports the land in its recovery after the fire.

This work requires not only effort but also financial resources, which is why we are asking sponsors to support us in covering the cost of water trucks.
