Today, our village came together for an organized cleanup event. Dozens of neighbors stepped outside to make our community cleaner after the devastating fire, restore children’s playgrounds, and support families affected by the disaster.
The initiative was backed by the municipality, and we were joined by many volunteers from nearby towns who came to lend a hand. Their presence and hard work brought great energy and encouragement to our efforts.
We would also like to extend special thanks to AKEL, which organized the arrival of more than a hundred additional volunteers and provided them with the necessary equipment.
We are also deeply grateful to the Bank of Cyprus and its SupportCY team for their strong contribution to the cleanup. Their support and active participation made a real difference on the ground.
This day showed once again the strength of unity and the power of collective action. Together, we are not only cleaning and rebuilding but also restoring the spirit of our community.
